RETAIL CHALLENGES

Increased Consumer Expectations See the article here

Retail is having to adapt to increased expectations from consumers. The consumer wants what they want, and when they need it, which can be quickly. These are the new realities for DTC companies. Very disruptive times!

PAID SOCIAL ADVERTISING

Sharpen Your Blade For 2019 See the article here

This is a good reflection on the past year of Paid Social Advertising developments, and particularly just how quickly things change.  Three biggest points include:

  1. Always research. The tactic you learned 4 months ago could already be stale and no longer advisable
  2. Invest more in creative, because that’s the main differentiator as more and more advertisers flock to social platforms
  3. Stay away from exclusively using last-touch attribution, and embrace a larger funnel approach

Here’s What Will Have The Biggest Impact In 2019 See the article here.

After big advancements within Google this year, looking at how these changes will affect 2019. With Google’s new interface being the big change of 2018, it will be interesting to see what changes will be made in 2019.

NETFLIX ADS

Eric Ortiz
Director of Sales + Acquisition

Why Wouldn’t They? see the article here.

Netflix? In my opinion, it’s only a matter of time. They have access to 130 million users complete with their interests based on the programming they watch, they have the internal digital marketing team to manage the process, and they have the promise of quite a hefty return of revenue. Why wouldn’t they?

We hope you enjoyed these snippets of information that we chose to share. Look out for the upcoming #ThursdayThoughts post. (Yes, it’ll be on Thursday). See our previous post here.
