Instagram’s Head Insists The App Isn’t Listening To You see the article here
INSTAGRAM DOES NOT LISTEN TO YOUR CONVERSATIONS. Nor does Facebook. It’s a classic case of a cognitive bias that many people have. Every time you are targeted with an ad, it has to do with your past behavior on that platform. You might think you didn’t search for a product… but you definitely either liked a post or page about that type of product, or been to a website talking about that type of product.
It’s a very simple and logical process that has nothing to do with a conspiracy to listen to your phone calls and DM conversations with your cousin.
How To Provide Value As A Salesperson the article here.
Sales is no longer a one-person game. It’s crucial that as salespeople we create relationships with everyone in the process as B2B decisions are made more and more through committee. That being said, your champion internally is not you! You must continue to provide value to the prospective organization at a strategic level to prevent your champion from turning a ‘no’ right now, into a ‘no’ forever.
LinkedIn Pages Get New CTA Buttons See the article here.
There are now 5 new CTA Buttons available for LinkedIn Pages, each equipped with click-through analytics in order to track engagement. Although these buttons will only be available via desktop it’s clear that LinkedIn is taking one small step at a time to ensure that businesses stay active on the platform.
Google Is Testing A New Carousel Format For Its Text-Ads See the article here.
The user experience for mobile text ads may be getting a change in the future. Recently, a test by Google was discovered in which mobile SEM ads were being tested in a carousel format. Instead of users scrolling from up to down in their feed to see ads, there would be a specific ads section at the top of search results where you would be able to scroll left to right. This would all be great for advertisers as it would allow more advertisers to be on the top of search results, getting prime real estate.
