Interesting perspective on the future of Facebook advertising.  As Facebook’s reach is already so high, userbase growth will continue to slow, and some users even claiming to leave the platform or use it less due to an oversaturation of ads.  This could be approaching a crossroads for the social media giant as they might want to consider switching emphasis from growing ad inventory to retaining users.

Youtube ads is launching audio ads in order to tap into those users who use their platform for listening to Music and Podcasts. In an effort to reach these users in a more effective way, advertisers will now be able to upload their audio creative to their Youtube campaigns. The same targeting that has been available in you Youtube video campaigns will also be available for audio campaigns.
