The Closure Of Newsrooms Is A Symbolic End Of A Publishing Era see article here

They slashed news staff to be more profitable in the 80’s and 90’s. The product began to show the effects in the 2000’s. This effect was the commoditization of the news with no depth or differentiation. It was teed up for being crushed by online portals for news. SO SAD. Terrestrial Radio commoditization you’re up next.

Facebook Ads Can Now Be Optimized Towards Phone Call Clicks see the article here

This is a HUGE update by Facebook that might look small on the surface.  Phone Call Ads have historically been poor performers on Facebook because it was only available in Reach campaigns that had no algorithmic ability to optimize for calls at all.  But now, Click to Call capabilities have been added to Traffic campaigns which means we can now optimize towards actual clicks on the Click to Call button, and thus phone calls.  It’s subtle, but it’s all the difference in the world for call campaigns!
